Pros and cons of Woodcarving Magazine app for iPhone and iPad

Woodcarving Magazine app good for

I cant wait to get the latest issue for its incredible photographs in the readers gallery. Plus the projects are amazingly detailed and clearly explained. There is so much packed into each issue but its never enough!
Least expensive subscriptions for US citizens. Would rather have PDF files, but this is second best.

Some bad moments

Ive had no end of trouble with this app. I paid money for a dark screen at this point. Lost lots of time trying to navigate the process for nothing. How aggravating.
Paid, downloaded, and enjoyed 2 issues...then it stopped working. Deleted and reloaded and lost all back issues...so far its a waste of money and time.
I was pleased to find this magazine here in the App Store, since it is difficult at best to find it at any newsstand. Since updating the app, not a single purchase of older versions work. Tap the cover, it appears to load and then the entire screen goes blank. Fortunately, I am only out 3 issues, but will not invest anything more.
Love the magazine . Really happy to be able to have it on my iPad .
Excellent content...anyone interested in woodcarving would enjoy!
Wonderful articles, great technique discussions, and beautiful prjects. A great investment.
